The Killers

The Killers are an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The group was formed in 2001. Members of the band consists of Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards), Dave Keuning (guitar, backing vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass, backing vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr.. (drums, percussion).
Debut album, Hot Fuss (2004) brought them to success. The second album of The Killers, Sam's Town, released in 2006, and the compilation album Sawdust containing old and new material, released in 2007. Their third studio album, Day & Age, produced by Stuart Price, released in 2008. The band has sold more than 5 million albums in the United States, more than 4.5 million in the UK, and more than 15 million worldwide.

Formation and early years (2001-2002)
In 2001, Brandon Flowers left by his first band, synthpop band known as Blush Response, when he refused to go with some of them to Los Angeles, California. After watching Oasis play at the Hard Rock Hotel, Flowers decided he wanted to be a rock band and started looking for guitar players. He then met Dave Keuning after answering an ad in the newspaper put Keuning in Vegas who writes Oasis, The Cure, U2, and The Beatles as his influens. They began playing together and at the end of 2001 they had recorded a demo tape (which became the main single Mr. Brightside) with the help of drummer and bassist named Matt Norcross named Dell Neal. Keuning and Flowers played their first live show at Cafe Espresso Roma in Las Vegas in early 2002, in the fall of 2002 and Norcross and Neal have been replaced with bassist Mark Stoermer and drummer Ronnie Vanucci Jr.., which are both friendly with Keuning and Flowers when playing with other bands on the live circuit in Las Vegas. The name "The Killers" is taken from the fictional band's bass drum in the music video for the song New Order "Crystal".

Awarded the contract (2003)
Initially, The Killers playing in small clubs in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they often played in performances of protracted. With the arrangement of the band that is not changing and growing list of songs, they attracted the attention of Alex Gilbert, representatives of Warner Bros. UK. Though Warner Bros. did not like the band, he took the demo back, and showed it to his friend, Ben Durling, who worked at UK indie label, Lizard King and the BBC Radio DJ Zane Lowe. As label head Martin Heath was interviewed by HitQuarters what interested him from the band, he said, "the voice of the original song, nice and interesting. When we met Brandon Flowers for the first time, it is clear to me that he is a big star. He has kharisama great. He fully believed in what he did. He was just standing and singing the music ". The Killers signed a deal with UK label in July 2003. On August 19, 2003, "Mr. Brightside" premiere on DJ Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show in the UK. The killers then went to London and began playing in bars and clubs, crowds increase every night through word of mouth and media reports are very positive. Soon after their return to America in the contract by Island Def Jam.
Awards and nominations
The Killers have won four NME Awards: Best International Band in 2005, 2008 and 2009 and Best Video for "Bones" in 2006. They also won two awards in the first U.S. NME Awards in 2008 for Best Band and Best Track for "Tranquilize". The Killers also been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, but never win it. In 2006 the band won a BRIT Award for Best International Band and album Sam's Town winning the Best International Album.

linkin park

Linkin Park is nu metal wing bands and alternative rock that came from Aguora Hills, California, in the United States. They had several times changed its name, such as Xero, Hybrid Theory, 0818, until the name Linkin Park until now. The name "Linkin Park" itself is a play on the name of a park in Los Angeles, Lincoln Park. Prior to become lead singer Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Mark Wakefield the vocalist first. However, he came out from Linkin Park to menjari another project (becoming manager of the band Taproot) - when ituse the the name Hybrid Theory - to become manager of a music group Taproot . Bassist Dave Farrell aka "Phoenix" also never came out briefly from Linkin Park for a tour with his old band, Tasty Snax. While 4 other personnel - Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn and Rob Bourdon - Linkin Park always survive since the beginning of its formation.

Linkin Park has released four studio albums, namely Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes to Midnight, and A Thousand Suns. Linkin Park also released the album Live in Texas, Reanimation and Collision Course, and Hybrid Theory EP. Linkin Park's success in popularizing the songs like Crawling, In the End, Numb, Somewhere I Belong, and What I've Done. In total, Linkin Park's albums have sold over 50 million copies.

Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden is heavy metal music group founded in 1975 in London, United Kingdom by bassist Steve Harris. They have achieved success and influenced many other musical groups. They are also regarded as one of the bands in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
